E62- Funny Trilogy: Modern Era - Thank You Roman

WWE Podcast...It's been an emotional week in our wrestling world and we are here around our WWE water cooler to help us all get through it together...And it ends up being one of our favorite episodes full of great discussion...We face the big news Roman dropped on Monday and the actions of Dean Ambrose later in the night...You have to break news like this into 2 parts, you of course have the human level but after that the show must go on...On the business side how does WWE move forward as a big chapter in this era is forcefully coming to a close...Who do we see as ready to attempt to fill the shoes of face of the company Roman Reigns?...

Then we try our best to shift gears as we are wrapping up our Funny Trilogy, this week in the Modern Era...It took some discussing but by the end of the main event segment I think we were able to finally figure out what's different between the humor of our Attitude and RA Era and humor today...We see some people who show flashes of comedic talent, maybe they just need a little more opportunity to show it...And things of course end with a mini R Truth love fest...because of course it does...

Then we wrap up getting everyone ready for Evolution this weekend...What are we looking forward to the most and how do we think the overall build has been for the show?

E61- Funny Trilogy:RA Era - SD 1000

We're back after a short break away from our WWE water cooler here and we have lots to catch up on...We kick things off joining in on the SD 1000 celebration...In our Gimmick Segment we are going full nostalgia and talking about our most memorable moments from our Attitude and Ruthless Aggression Eras...

In our Main Event we are finally picking things back up in our Funny Trilogy...This week we are in the Ruthless Aggression Era and Wes brings his A game with some classic RA performers...We talk Stone Cold Steve Austin as a chicken shit heel. This was a very different Rattlesnake than the one we all had known but it was during this time Austin showed he really is one of the all time greats...And of course you don't talk RA Era comedy with talking about a certain superhero...Stand back!! Hurricane and The Rock had plenty of hilarious moments for us to laugh about as we go back and relive some of their classic interactions...

 

Then we wrap up with the current stories as these shows are coming at us fast as WWE rolls on to their next big shows...The Raw Main Event scene has been really good but are we ready to see some fresh matchups?...Why is Chace comparing DX and The Brothers of Destruction to The Power Rangers?...Who has us buzzing coming out of a jam packed Smackdown 1000 episode?...
